This recommendation was put forward by Wayne Joudrie, director of education for the Halton District School Board, and will be presented as an information item at the Jan. 7 public board meeting. Trustees will vote on the recommendation at the Jan. 21 meeting. There will be a chance for members of the community to comment on the recommendation at a Ward 4 delegation night on Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. at J. W. Singleton Education Centre, 2050 Guelph Line in Burlington. Written materials are to be sent to Gail Gortmaker by Jan. 8. The special e-mail address set up for this accommodation issue, ward4oakville@hdsb.ca, will remain open until the vote scheduled for Jan. 21.
