That robbery took place shortly before 11 p. m., when two men entered the store and demanded money from one of the two male employees. No weapon was seen, but police said one suspect made it appear as though he was concealing one. When the employee did not respond fast enough to the robber's demands, he was pushed to the ground and a struggle ensued. During this altercation, the cash register fell to the ground where it opened, spilling money onto the floor. The suspects grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash and fled. On Tuesday, Nov. 25, tips to Halton police led to the arrest of two suspects in connection with the robbery. Kevin Michael Reid, 21, of no fixed address, has been charged with one count of robbery and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order. Derek Holden Johne, 20, of no fixed address has been charged with one count of robbery.
