She lives there with her husband, Marco Convertino. Wright said Nashville is the right place for her right now, especially with her ongoing career in the country music industry. She said she may return to Canada at some point, with Barrie as a possible destination. "At this point in time, this community in Nashville is very important to what I do, so it won't happen anytime soon," she said. "But I do see us getting a second home around the Barrie area, where my sister and my niece live." Wright is tapping into the overseas market, recently releasing her 2006 album Everything and More and A Wright Christmas in Europe. She plans to tour Scotland in April and France in July, with more European concert dates to be announced. "The album (Everything and More) is really doing well and it is an interesting turn of events," she said. "When you put a record out, you never really know what's going to happen, so it has been exciting to get the type of feedback on this record in another territory." Somewhere between tour dates in 2009, Wright said she is hoping to start working on songs for a new album. She has not set a release date, saying the music will determine the timeline. The album will be country at heart, with pop and Motown influences. "When I'm doing something like this, there's a lot of processing for me," she said. "I want it to be really special or unique.
