(905) 827-7173 Contestants needed for talent competition Glenburnie School is presenting the Performing Arts Challenge Talent Contest on Saturday, Nov. 22 from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Children from five to 13 years of age from all over the region are invited to compete in this annual event. Instrumentalists, vocalists and variety performers from diverse genres and backgrounds will be competing for first place. The vocal division will run from 9 to 11 a.m. and the instrumental, dance, and variety divisions will follow from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Trophies will be awarded to the winners of each divison. The Performing Arts Challenge Talent Contest is distinct from other talent competitions as it focuses on the complete artist. Attributes such as stage presence, appropriate dress, and command of the audience will all be taken into consideration by the panel of expert judges.
