Honour Roll Now Available for Review An Honour Roll Memorial will be constructed at George's Square to commemorate Oakville residents who served in one of the Great Wars (WWI, WWII) and the Korean War. The names of those who served will be installed on a new (separate) structure that will compliment the existing cenotaph. The existing monument located at George's NOTICE OF STUDY COMPLETION Stabilization and Rehabilitation Class Environmental Assessment Wedgewood West (Falgarwood Creek) Reach 54 The Town of Oakville intends to undertake remedial work to address the problem of erosion and creek stability of Wedgewood West (Falgarwood) Creek from the upstream limit of the Morrison-Wedgewood Diversion Channel to Gainsborough Drive. The study has been undertaken to develop, evaluate and recommend preferred alternatives for the stabilization and rehabilitation of the creek channel and banks, along with possible flood/flow control improvements along Wedgewood West (Falgarwood) Creek. A set of alternative solutions has been evaluated and a preferred solution consisting of a combination of toe stabilization and creek realignment works has been selected. Two public information sessions have been held to solicit public input regarding the alternative solutions and preferred solution. The public are invited to provide written comments on this matter to the Town of Oakville or its consulting engineer, Philips Engineering Ltd., by December 10, 2008. The study was completed in compliance with a Schedule `B' project of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process.
