Workshops for parents The Halton District School Board wants to help parents help their kids succeed in the classroom. The lunch speaker will be Jane Walmsley, a music teacher at Alexander's Public School in Burlington and former arts co-ordinator for the Halton District School Board. She will speak on the arts in education. Community awareness displays will be staffed during the lunch hour including the Halton Multicultural Council, Pathways, Halton police, Canadian Mental Health Association and the Special Education Advisory Committee.
