Blakelock Tigers 52-32 to improve to 6-0 on the Volpe/Poliziani Division (AAA/AAAA schools) season. Amanda Perrotta scored a season-high 20 points in the win over the Jaguars. The Loyola Hawks and Oakville Trafalgar Red Devils also enjoyed successful weeks. Loyola, which upset the Notre Dame Fighting Irish the previous week, rode that momentum to wins over the Iroquois Ridge Trailblazers (54-33) and Assumption Crusaders (60-15), while the Red Devils defeated Assumption 41-23 and pounded the Georgetown Rebels 46-14. Loyola's balanced offensive attack was evident Wednesday against Assumption. Blakelock fell 63-20 to Notre Dame before its loss to Trinity Wednesday, and will carry a 2-4 mark into a road meeting Monday with Assumption. St. Thomas Aquinas had no answer for Milton District's Kayla Alexander in Richardson Division play Thursday. The 6-foot-4 Alexander, a member of the junior national team, scored 33 points to lead the Mustangs to a 46-38 win over Aquinas. Melanie Enright had 15 points for the Raiders, who are now 3-1 on the season. Aquinas beat Lester B. Pearson Patriots 41-33 earlier in the week. The Raiders will visit the E.C. Drury Spartans Tuesday. The White Oaks Wildcats took advantage of weaker competition past week to post a pair of wins and improve to 2-3. White Oaks downed the Acton Bearcats 24-9 Tuesday, then defeated the Aldershot Lions 36-22 Thursday. Acton and Aldershot have combined for one win this season. Emily McRae was White Oaks' top scorer in both games, netting 12 points against Acton and scoring nine against Aldershot. Shannon Stack added eight points in the victory over the Lions.
