The bylaw, which would make permits necessary to remove trees with a minimum height of 1.37 metres that measure 8 inches (20 centimetres) or more in diameter, will be examined by the Community Services Committee on Thursday, Sept. 25. Members of the public are invited to attend and make comments during this meeting, which will take place at 7 p.m. in Town Hall's Council Chambers, located at 1225 Trafalgar Rd. The committee is taking comments made at the meeting into account in making its recommendation to council on Monday, Sept. 29.
