W. Shortly before midnight, armed security guards entered the bank to refill the ATM machine and were confronted by a lone male armed with a semi-automatic pistol. The suspect demanded cash from the guards and received an undisclosed amount of cash. The thief fled on foot to a parked car near Hixon Street. Further investigation determined the thief had broken into the bank through a rear door and was waiting inside the bank. The suspect was masked with a balaclava and ski-type goggles, wore gloves and dark clothing. Neither of the two security guards was injured.
