www.oakvillebeaver.com The Oakville Beaver Weekend, Saturday July 5, 2008 - 11 Fire at business was set deliberately On July 1 at 3:45 a.m., the Oakville Fire Department responded to a deliberately set fire at a business office located at 1282 Cornwall Rd. Investigation determined that persons unknown had caused a small fire on a rear deck area of the business premise. The blaze caused damage to the deck and to the side of the building. There were no injuries to any person in this incident. A citizen observed the small fire and notified the fire department before the fire caused excessive damage. Total damage to the property has yet to be determined. Halton police, in conjunction with the Oakville Fire Department, are investigating this incident as a deliberate arson.
