Rangers sweep Eagles in Tri-County final A three-game sweep of the Burlington Eagles lifted the Oakville minor peewee A Rangers to their second Tri-County league championship in as many seasons. Oakville downed Burlington by scores of 10-2, 5-2 and 3-2. Brad Johnson scored the series winner, an unassisted marker in the third period, while Patrick Enman and Munham Ahmad had the other Rangers goals in the clinching game. The Tri-County championship caps off a strong year for the squad, which won the Richard Bell title and was a quarter-finalist in the Ontario Minor Hockey Association playdowns. Oakville lost only once in the TriCounty playoffs. Other members of the team, sponsored by Canadian Sound and Trafalgar Ridge Montessori School, are A.J.
