Gypsy Moth Workshop Saturday, April 5, 2008, 12 ­ 2 p.m. Following the April 5 meeting, the Town of Oakville and Bronte Creek Provincial Park will host a free Gypsy Moth Workshop for residents and private woodland owners on ways to control the insect. Return transportation will be provided from Central Operations to the workshop site at Bronte Creek Provincial Park. Lunch will also provided, however seating is limited and registration is required. A key component of the study will be consultation with interested stakeholders (public and regulatory agencies). As part of the study, two, Public Information Centres (PIC) will be held NOTICE OF ZONING BY-LAW PASSING Zoning By-law Amendment No. 2008-051 to Comprehensive Zoning By-law 1984-063 Parking Provisions Review - Regulations Town Initiated File: 42.10.23 TAKE NOTICE that Oakville Council passed Zoning Amendment By-law 2008-051 under Section 34, of The Planning Act, as amended on the 17th, day of March, 2008. The purpose of the zoning amendment is to make general amendments to the Zoning By-law that will re-organize and revise existing parking regulations and reduce repetition by generalizing certain parking regulations. The effect of the zoning amendment is to clarify parking regulations by simplifying and consolidating over 20 district pages of parking regulations, currently found throughout the Zoning By-law, into one section. Any appeals of the zoning by-law amendment must be filed with Cathie Best, Town Clerk, 1225 Trafalgar Road, P. O. Box 310, Oakville, ON L6J 5A6, setting out the reasons for the appeal together with a certified cheque or money order in the amount of $125.00 payable to the Minister of Finance. A copy of the appeal form is available from the OMB website at www.omb.gov.on.ca. Only individuals, corporations and public bodies may appeal a by-law to the Ontario Municipal Board. A notice of appeal may not be filed by an unincorporated association or group. However, a notice of appeal may be filed in the name of an individual who is a member of the association or the group on its behalf. No person or public body shall be added as a party to the hearing of the appeal unless, before the by-law was passed, the person or public body made oral submissions at a public meeting or written submissions to the Town of Oakville Council or, in the opinion of the Ontario Municipal Board, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
