In this picture we are in Bayfield, Ontario in Huron County for our 20th anniversary (without our children) in October 2006 where our tradition began. We started with six and now with the addition of spouses and children are a total of nine adults and 11 children. One of our traditions is to hold a special meal on the Saturday night, which is planned chaos by the time we are all seated. The children look forward to our two weekends each year as much as the adults do, partly because they have a lot more freedom, like late nights, junk food, etc. Since 1993 we have been holding our `Chill' weekends (named after the movie The Big Chill, which we usually watch as well) at my home in Oakville. As a result, another tradition of the weekend includes lunch and shopping in downtown Oakville. This is friendship and kinship at its best. -- What do you bring to the table? is a continuing series of photos submitted to Oakville Galleries to run in conjunction with its current exhibit What We Bring to the Table in Gairloch Gardens until June 6. The exhibit features art by artists Laura Letinsky, Bettina Hoffmann, Patrick Faigenbaum and Instant Coffee. DOOR CRASHERS MARKDOWNS E. J. James airs Garbage Feb. 19 The Environment Club at E.J.
