Pat Jarosz will be at the Oakville Library's Glen Abbey Branch on Saturday, from 10 a.m.1:30 p.m. The former model agent of 20 years and now talent scout will be holding a preliminary meeting to meet those interested in a career in modeling, acting, dance or singing, or for those who wish to take part in a mother/daughter or grandmother/granddaughter event. Those attending should bring a photo of themselves, which will not be returned. The Pat Jarosz Model and Talent Search has joined The Women's Lifestyle Show for a Model & Talent Search for males and females, including children, preteens, teens and adults to the age of 65. It's also a first mother/daughter model search and grandmother/granddaughter search for all ages. There are many prizes to be won at the event, which will take place on March 15 and 16. Jarosz has travelled to cities across Canada, and has appeared on Fashion Television, City Line and Eye on Toronto as a modeling expert. She has represented actors from shows including The O.C., As The World Turns, All My Children, Party of Five and more. The Pat Jarosz Model and Talent Search's success stories include children playing lead roles in movies, landing spots in commercials, being featured in catalogues, flyers, fashion shows, magazines and more. There is no fee for preliminary meetings with the scout. There is a fee for the finals, which is March 15 or 16. The fee is $25. The judges for the event include Canada's Next Top Model celebrity judge, photographer Paul Alexander. Those in the search will wear their own black or denim pants or skirts. Participants and parents will also receive seminars on runway walking and the business of the business. The Glen Abbey Branch is located at 1415 Third Line. The meeting will be held in the meeting room. All aboard the ARTbus Oakville Galleries is hosting an ARTbus tour.
