Halton's administration and finance committee endorsed a motion to that effect last week in support of a similar resolution recently approved by Peel regional council. Both motions ask for Halton, Durham, Peel and York regions and the cities of Hamilton and Toronto to be relieved by March 31 of any further obligation to provide funding for GO's growth capital plan, which covers everything from adding new railway tracks to expanding its parking facilities.
