www.oakvillebeaver.com The Oakville Beaver, Wednesday January 9, 2008 - 5 Oakville man admits role in brutal slaying of drug dealer An Oakville resident was among four men with ties to the now-defunct Bandidos bike club sentenced Monday to penitentiary terms after pleading guilty to the fatal beating of Keswick drug dealer Shawn Douse. Pierre (Carlitto) Aragon, 26, who pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, was sentenced to three years and 11 months in prison. Aragon has been in prison for three years awaiting trial. The sentences were handed down in Whitby provincial court. Provincial court heard that the bikers ignored Douse's pleas for mercy, after he was lured to a townhouse on Hattie Court in Keswick the night of Dec. 6-7, 2005. "This was a vicious, senseless, callous and cowardly killing," Mr. Justice Edwin Minden said before passing sentence on Aragon and his co-accused -- Randolph (Randy) Brown, 36, of Jackson's Point, Cameron Acorn, 27, and Robert (Bobby) Quinn, 28, both of Keswick. The men were all connected to the nowdefunct Keswick chapter of the Bandidos, the world's second largest outlaw biker club. The Bandidos Canadian branch officially closed in November, after a spate of murders and convictions. Brown, who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, was sentenced to life in prison, with no opportunity to apply for parole until June 2016. He admitted he stuffed a T-shirt into Douse's throat to kill him, after Douse was beaten unconscious. Acorn, who was called the architect of the murder plot by the Crown, was sentenced to nine years in prison for manslaughter, while Quinn was sentenced to five years and 11 months after pleading guilty to manslaughter. All of the sentences were in line with joint Crown-defense recommendations on sentencing. Douse's body was found in a North Pickering field on Dec. 8, 2005 by a man walking his dogs. Douse had been set on fire and his hands and feet were bound. His mouth was gagged and a bag was over his head. Court heard that the fatal beating took place when Douse was ambushed by the men in a townhouse in Keswick owned by Jamie Flanz. Flanz was a probationary member of the Bandidos, whose body was found in a car in a farmer's field near Shedden, outside London, in April 2006. Flanz was one of eight Bandidos murdered in what police called an "internal cleansing" of the biker gang, which has since disbanded in Canada. Court heard that Flanz played no part in the fatal beating of Douse, and that Douse was also beaten by Paul (Big Paul) Sinopoli, another of the eight Bandidos whose bodies were found outside Shedden. Court heard that Douse was lured to his death because Acorn was upset that Douse had been selling cocaine to family members. -- From Torstar News Service · Infants to 12 years · 3 year old educational programs · JK and SK educational programs with a focus on math, reading, french and language skills · Before & after school programs featuring "summer club" · Extra Curricular Activities - gym, computers, music & swimming (not all activities are available at all centers). 2488 Bromsgrove Rd., Mississauga, Ontario L5J 1L8 (905) 823-3000 www.mini-skool.ca 220 NORTH SERVICE RD. at Dorval (Dorval Crossing) 905-849-1522 OPENING SOON: Shoppes on Dundas, 1195 Dundas St. E.
