Always a place of welcome, the elegant upper and lower gallery will showcase 13 participating artists, many of whom you will meet at this special annual Christmas show. "I feel we have an excellent collection of artists that cover various subject matter," says Win of her gallery. Appealing to a range of creative flavour, "We expose select pieces depicting all forms of art including realism, impressionist, and abstract." Says gallery director, Andrea Thompson, "This is a first for us, exhibiting all our artists in one special event." Included are Gisele Comtois's new works of Newfoundland and Labrador; Joanne Clarke's floral and panoramic views; Art Cunanan's misty rivers and creeks; Jacek Rudnicki's mesmerizing abstracts; and of course, Win Henstock's dramatic still life and colourful landscapes. Unique are Tom Miller's moody fields and subtle flowers; and glorious, are the works of the ever-so-fabulous Helen Lucas. One of Canada's finest painters, Gerry Sevier is showcased, as is the infamous John Joy! Newer to the gallery are Adrian deRooy, Mark Lague, Jae Dougal and Nancy Kembry. Rich in talent and diverse in creativity, their work is a feast for the eyes and the senses. Win Henstock Gallery takes pride in the magnificence of sculpture. The collection features Andrew Benyei, Siggy Puchta, and Perry Nelson. Though not in attendance, of British and European fame, will be the new works of father and son artists John and Bruce Yardley. Montreal abstract artist Marcelle Dube, along with Alexandre Zerbe and Sacha will be displaying their latest amongst this abundance of talent.
