Vol. 46 No. 142 St. Thomas boundary talks draw fire Northern parents don't want their kids bused south to school By David Lea OAKVILLE BEAVER STAFF If students from Holy Trinity and St. Ignatius of Loyola secondary schools are moved to accommodate a Halton Catholic District School Board boundary review, it won't be without a fight. This was the sentiment of St. Joan of Arc Catholic School Council Chair Heidi Murray, who pointed out that the community of West Oak Trails is tired of boundary reviews, which she says have been fragmenting their community for the past 10 years. "My kids have been bounced from school to school to school to school. They started at St. Joseph, but then Mother Teresa was built so they moved them there. Then they built St. Joan of Arc so they moved them there," said Murray. "Just a year and a half ago we opened up Pope John Paul and while my kids stayed at St. Joan of Arc they still lost lots of their friends who were moved to Pope John Paul.
