The fundraiser was organized by The Desperate for a Cure Housewives, who have raised more than $120,000 in five years for the Princess Margaret Foundation's Weekend to End Breast Cancer event. Guests at the Halloween party were asked to dress up as their favourite rock star. More than 120 famous and not-so-famous rock stars attended the event. The hall was donated by the Legion and the owner of Bulldog Entertainment, David La Thangue, donated his time as the DJ.
