The special guests from Six Nations include Gail Oediah, Kika Mowry and Ann Frohman performing together. The event will also feature native storytelling, drumming and singing with friends from Ohsweken. The Three Sisters represent the ancient harvest of corn, beans and squash and there's a great story behind the ceremonial soup that is made from these nourishing vegetables. Six Nations chef, Janace Henry, owner of Pies and Things Catering in Oshweken, will also be demonstrating how to make the ceremonial soup. Henry will serve a ceremonial native lunch in the café including Three Sisters Soup, another soup with corn and salt pork plus corn bread, Indian donuts and cookies and a traditional strawberry drink.
