The digester has been running today, and I can say that the low-frequency problem has been greatly reduced. I just wish to say how impressed I am at the immediate action taken by Messrs. Bird and Crockett. They are a credit to the folks of Halton and Oakville. For the record, I have no political agenda, nor have I ever even contacted my representative in the 17 years I've lived in Oakville. I am simply recognizing excellent service. PETER ROBERTSON CFUW hosts all-candidates breakfast The Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) will host a public AllCandidates Breakfast Meeting at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Thursday, Sept. 20. Registration and breakfast will start at 7:30 a.m. The program will begin at 8 a.m. with opening statements by the candidates followed by questions from the floor, and a wrap-up at 9:30 a.m. Invitations have been extended to all of the candidates running in the Oakville riding. "It is of great importance for women to be involved in the political process," said Darla Campbell, President of CFUW Oakville. "CFUW-Oakville is hosting the breakfast meeting to provide an opportunity for women in the community to hear from the candidates directly and to ask questions in a friendly, comfortable environment," said Campbell. Founded in 1919, the Canadian Federation of University Women is a volunteer, non-profit, self-funded, bilingual organization of more than 10,000 women university graduates across Canada.
