Pioneer Family Pools, located at 1020 South Service Rd., is running a special `seasonal promotion' in support of the Auxiliary to OTMH (OakvilleTrafalgar Memorial Hospital). With shelves laden with a wide array of Halloween and Christmas decorations already in stock, the store is having a `50 per cent off sale' on all these decorations during the month of September, with all proceeds from the sale going to the OTMH Auxiliary in support of the hospital. The sale kicks off today, Saturday, Sept. 1. The partners at Pioneer Family Pools have always been strong supporters of the auxiliary, donating a patio set for the auxiliary's annual raffle for more than 15 years. With a membership of 700 adult and Speaker on crystal meth President of The Crystal Meth Society of B.C., Mark McLaughlin, will speak here on Friday, Sept. 7. McLaughlin's presentation will feature information about the dangers of the drug. It will be held at the Halton Regional Centre, 1151 Bronte Rd., at 7 p.m. Those attending are encouraged to arrive early, use the rear parking lot to enter auditorium doors, then go to the second floor.
