He is survived by his brothers Ronald (Diane) of St. Eustache, Que. and Kenneth (Marlyn) of Flesherton, Ont. and is predeceased by his brother William (Carol). He was born in Montreal, Que. and lived in St. Lambert, Que. before moving to Burlington, Ont. in 1985. James Dawson was a proud WWII Veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy serving on corvettes and frigates in the Atlantic. He was a graduate of Sir George William University and a retiree of Molson Breweries in Montreal after 35 years of service. An avid curler, golfer and bridge player, he was a member of the Outremont, the St. Lambert, the Country Club of Burlington and the Oakville Curling Clubs, the Country Club of Montreal golf club in St. Lambert and Hidden Lake Golf Club in Burlington. James Dawson will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. At his request, he has been cremated and a private family funeral has taken place.
