Opening night includes a free meetthe-artists social from 7-8:30 p.m. Although working on different subjects and in different mediums, all three artists share the ability to reveal inner aspects of their subjects. Morgan is a photographer based in Mississauga. Her work includes travel, documentary, nature and portrait photography. Morgan is showcasing her work in Bronte for the first time. In describing her work, Morgan says, "Deep inside every person I meet is a spark of life -- a spark that sets that person aside as unique and different and special. Sometimes that spark is right on the surface, and sometimes it's buried deep under layers of hardened shell or raw adversity. I use my camera to capture this spark and set it on display for all to see." Jan and Bethany Davidson have each been painting for years, and both show at local art shows and hang regularly at downtown Oakville restaurant, Seasons. After a 23-year career in nursing, Jan exchanged her stethoscope for a paintbrush. She has attended various courses at the Oakville Art Society, and enjoyed workshops in Muskoka and two years ago went on a painting holiday in France with Dawn Angela Seeley. Her work can be found in private and corporate collections in Japan, the US, New Zealand and Canada. Bethany excelled at drawing from a young age, but did not take it up seriously until after high school. She worked with Milan Design, doing murals and trompe l'oeil, and developed her craft.
