The Halton Regional Police Drug and Morality Bureau started an investigation into an alleged street level cocaine dealer in Oakville on Tuesday. Police allege an undercover officer bought cocaine from two men on May 29 and 31, and after the second purchase, two men were arrested near Bronte and Speers roads. At 12:30 a.m. yesterday, a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant was executed at 5220 Lakeshore Rd., Burlington, where a small quantity of suspected cocaine and cash was seized, police say. Charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance is Andrew Williams, 21, of 5220 Lakeshore Rd., Burlington. Charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance is Orlando D'Ambrosio, 23, of Yarmouth Drive, Oakville. Both accused are scheduled to appear in Milton Court, July 3. The Halton Regional Police Service is continuing to investigate this incident. Community fundraiser for Lee Han family The community continues to rally around the Lee Han family. Moses Han, a father of three young girls with his wife, Gloria Lee, had a rare tooth infection that spread and cost him his eyesight. Only recently released from hospital, Moses was forced to sell his variety store and the family's sole source of income. Since then, Oakville residents have been working to help the family out. A recent spaghetti dinner at Munn's Church saw the Lee Han family receive more than $40,000 worth of assistance. Another fundraiser is slated for Sunday, June 10 for the family. It's the 5th Annual Community Event, organized by homeowners in the Village of Morrison, a subdivision across the street from Holy Trinity High School, along with members of the River Oaks Community Church. In addition to fundraising, the event will also celebrate Oakville's 150th birthday. On the menu is a cash BBQ, a dunk tank ­ politicians and school representatives will be nominated to be dunked to help raise money for the family, an outdoor church service, Village Idol ­ a singing competition, a community garage sale, face painting, crafts, games, a fire truck and police cruiser. Invited guests include councillors Jeff Knoll and Marc Grant, the Lee Han Family, Holy Trinity High School staff and students, Oak Park Moms and Tots and the Trafalgar History Society.
