Thomas Chatfield, a well-known Oakville-based painter, teacher and mentor to fellow artists, captures his love of Canadian landscape in Paintings on Paper. He traveled across the province in pursuit of his subject and held more than 60 solo shows across Canada over the course of his career. Chatfield died in July 1999 and his work is now exhibited exclusively at Abbozzo Gallery, 179 Lakeshore Rd. E. Paintings on Paper runs to April 22.
