Dude brought his own beer on the date," said Glassman. "Those aren't bad guys, they're just idiots. This book isn't about bad guys, it's about bad buy behaviour ­ and some men are just off the charts." Like a guy who decided to wrap up a small ring box for his girlfriend and put it under the Christmas tree. "So, this girl thinks she's getting married for Christmas," Glassman said. "She opens up the box in front of all her family ­ it looks like a ring box. She opens it up and there's a card in there that says, `You wish.' "He's trying to be funny, but talk about miscalculating," said Glassman, laughing. Then there are the "weird sex guys" and "deviants," a few other categories of slimy men's behaviour that's been documented in the book. And the idea has caught on ­ Glassman can't say who yet, but he's about to ink a deal with a Canadian production company to make The Slime that Men Do a TV series. "I'm very excited. It's a great, exciting thing," he said. "It'll be a great boost to the book." And there are more books on the way, too ­ The Slime that Men Do II, which Glassman promises will be "a little more racy," The Slime that Women Do to Men and Other Women and The Slime that Ex's Do.
