www.oakvillebeaver.com The Oakville Beaver, Wednesday January 24, 2007 - 35 Field hockey indoor program begins soon The Halton Field Hockey League's youth indoor (under-14) program will begin next month in Burlington, running each Saturday for seven consecutive weeks. The program, which starts Feb. 3, will offer instruction of basic concepts, skill-building drills, and games. Each session will begin at noon and conclude at 1:30 p.m., with 45 minutes spent on instruction and 45 minutes used for a pick-up game. All sessions will be held at the Sherwood Forest Park indoor gymnasium. All Halton residents are welcome to participate, and mouth and shin guards are mandatory. Registration forms will be collected at the first session attended; pre-registration is not required. New players are encouraged to participate.
