It's part of the festivities leading up to "Oakville Night" at the Ricoh Coliseum to be held Feb. 25. The alumni members will be signing autographs and kids of all ages will have a chance to check out the interactive hockey display. High school students, the Butterfly Foundation and Kinsmen will also be on hand to sell tickets to the upcoming Oakville Night game and encourage all visitors to help break the American Hockey League attendance record of 2,784 set by the City of Vaughan. Tickets to the Feb. 25 game cost $15 per person with proceeds benefitting the Bronte Butterfly Foundation and Kinsmen Club of Oakville. Gifts will go to schools sending the most Oakvillians to the Ricoh Coliseum including a framed autographed Marlie jersey. The public will get the opportunity to win exciting prizes as well when they purchase a $2 raffle ticket also in support of the Butterfly Foundation and Kinsmen. Raffle tickets will be available for sale at Hopedale on Saturday. Prizes include a 27" Sony WEGA TV, Leafs and Raptors tickets, and more. The Bronte Butterfly Foundation is a not-for-profit, registered charitable organization with a mandate to create an interactive learning environment for children and visitors to Halton. The natural Butterfly Park & Winter Skateway will be built on the shores of Lake Ontario alongside historic Bronte Harbour in southwest Oakville. The Foundation is on the last leg of its capital campaign.
