The Rangers also went 2-0-1 in round-robin competition before being eliminated in the quarter-finals at a tournament in Hamilton, and went 3-2 in the opening round of the Burlington Golden Horseshoe event before losing their semifinal game in overtime. Oakville is 12-7-4 in league action, sitting fourth in its division behind Brampton, Welland and Hamilton. The Rangers have allowed 48 goals, the second-lowest total in the league.
