(nee Haines)- Shirley's family sadly announces her peaceful passing in the early hours of Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Beloved wife and best friend of Peter Scott. Shirley is survived by her children Wendy McLeary (Dave), Larry Haywood, Peter Haywood (Heather), Debi Landry (Jim), and Dana Haywood (Debbie), as well as step-daughters Julianne and Michelle Scott, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Shirley is also survived by brothers Jack (Marie), Fred (Gloria), Roy (Brenda), sister Mary, and many special nieces and nephews. Shirley was predeceased by her first husband Lorne Haywood (1981).
