Sally Omer â€" director of the CAD/CAM Institute â€" received these awards while attending the annual Autodesk Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, recently. The Institute was also granted a Premier Status on the tiered system that ranges from foundation, to advanced, to premier. The virtual alliance and partnership with Autodesk California continues to bring numerous privileges to Sheridan‘s CAD/CAM Institute which allows it to provide the postâ€"secondary CHRISTMAS SEASON‘S BEST VALUE students and participants/individuals from all architectural, engineering, and design disciplines with training on stateâ€"ofâ€"theâ€"art technologies. The CAD/CAM Institute has also been authorized as a MultiMedia Training Centre (MMTC) for Autodesk products. This status is granted to about 30 centers in the world, only three of which are in Canada. Sheridan‘s Institute applicaâ€" tions are mainly for Architects, Engineers, Designers, _ and Technologists. "I have enjoyed studying how AutoCAD, 3D Studio, â€" and AutoVision were used in 100% of the design and manufacturing of the Tyrell Racing Formula One car in Britain," said Omer.
