As a jazz musician, Galloway has played with some of the best in the business in locations around the globe. His first horn was a borrowed clarâ€" inet. From there, Galloway‘s natural abilities and his amazing ear for music helped him branch out into other wind instruments. Today, Galloway is well known as one of a select few soprano sax masters in the world. Born in Kilwinning, Ayrshire, 25 miles southwest of Glasgow, Scotland, Galloway was influenced in the 1940s and 50s when the Voice of America featured jazz programs on an almost nightly basis.
