In the same harbour there were also two Canadian destroyers, the HMS Yukon and the HMS Saskatchewan. We were privileged to tour both these trainin§ vessels. The Yukon was 366 feet long (com ared to Concordia’ s 18 ft.) with a maximum speed of 28.5 knots. ehad a most enjoyable visit, swapping stories with her crew about life at The next day we set sail for the last time and headed up the coast for our ï¬nal port of call, San Francisco.
