On Tuesday around 4 p.m. the twinâ€"engine plane carryâ€" ing two Noranda Inc. executives â€" Daniel Millar, 32, and Dominic Gammiero, 44, of Oakville â€" crashed in a thickly wooded area 215 miles northwest of North Bay. As of press time Thursday, however, Millar was still listed in critical condition at Toronto Western Hospital. On Thursday Dave Newland, chief pilot for Noranda Aviation, would neither confirm or deny reports that both engines on the Beechcraft Baron aircraft failed "I am not at liberty to divulge that information," he said, explaining that possible cause sof the accident are currently being investigated by the Transportation Safety Board. This process is a painstaking and protracted one, howâ€" ever, and Newland said he does not expect a report on the mishap for at least 18 months. He said that he likely won‘t see even an initial report for 14 months. Newland â€" who has not visited the crash site â€" also said conversations between himself, Vogan and the Transportation Safety Board are privileged information. aA a»~ Halton Regional Police have ruled out foul play in the death of Welsh nanny Nicola Anne Roberts, 24, (inset) whose body was disâ€" covered down an embankment seen here, just north of railway tracks on Kerr Street. It did reveal however that the woman‘s body showed no signs of trauma, thereby ruling out homicide or acciâ€" dent ‘"Foul play is not suspected. Toxicology tests have been ordered to determine the exact cause of death," said Halton Regional Police Sgt. Joe Martin "The big thing is, especially in the location she was found, it (the post mortem) showed she didn‘t get hit by a car or fall. She got herself down to where she was," said Martin. Where she was, was on the west bank of the creek approximately 200 metres south of the QEW bridge. The body wasn‘t near the bridge, said police. Testing showed no broken bones and no indication Roberts met a violent death. A purse and knapsack said to be carried by Roberts was found with the body. Martin said toxicology tests will determine if alcohol or drugs played a part in the woman‘s death. Those test results can sometimes take several months to obtain, said Martin. Oakville Det. Sgt.
