Program helps women expand their businesses Stretchâ€"nâ€"Grow Gradually Todd, too, returned to the fold with gentle prompting from Heather Jaschinski, franchisee of the Stretchâ€"nâ€"Grow program at St. Michael All Angels Day Care Centre. In a short time, Jaschinski has made great strides in estalishing her new business. In January, when the U.S.â€"based Stretchâ€"nâ€"Grow began offering its franchises in Canada, she applied for and obtained the rights to Halton Region. In the last month, she began her classes in three schools and has signed up 11 more for this September. (She is also considering approaching firms with offers of reprieve exercising sessions for their employees.) 3 Applications for the third ‘Step Up‘ program for women entrepreneurs are now being accepted. The session ends with a "locomotive time" (large motor movements). Although preâ€"schoolers run around a lot, Jaschinski said they don‘t get the stretching that builds muscles in the stomach and back.
