Everyone is welcome and, if you have never visited the Oakville Seniors‘ Centres, whatever your age â€" this could be the perfect opportuâ€" nity! The centres will be hosting many special events during June to celeâ€" brate Seniors‘ Month. Oakville residents, 50 years of age and older are eligible to join the centres. A $5 annual membership covers the cost of the Oakville Senior Citizens‘ Newsletter, availâ€" able at the centres and listing details of all centre programs, services, classes, trips, activities, and items of general interest. The Town of Oakville Parks and Recreation Department, expresses its support and appreciation of seniors by operating two seniors‘ centres, the Oakville Senior Citizens‘ Recreation Centre, 263 Kerr St., and the Sir John Colborne Recreation Centre for Seniors, 1565 Old Lakeshore Road, Third Line and Lakeshore Road. June is Seniors‘ Month across Ontario and the theme "Sharing our Experiences" expresses the contriâ€" bution of personal and life experiâ€" ence so readily shared by Oakville‘s senior citizens.
