This year, Jack Grunsky â€" known as The Pied Piper of Canada â€" is coming to the Oakville Waterfront Festival. Open to young people interested in music as a career who are living, studying, or have family residence in Halton Region, the competition offers three cash prizes. Winners will receive $400 for the under 14 group; $700 for those between 14 and 17; and $1,000 for the 18 to 24â€" yearâ€"old group. Winners may also be invited to perform with the Oakville Symphony Orchestra.
