Century Church Theatre holds casting call tonight Director Neville Worsnop will be casting tonight the next production for Century Theatre Guild's The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society's Production of A Christmas Carol, to be performed at Century Church Theatre Hillsburgh in June. The roles are as follows: Mrs. Reece, elegant, bossy and enterprising; Thelma, a touchy prima donna; Gordon, longsuffering and a frozen-faced actor; Felicity, nervous, wellmeaning but an incompetent actress; Mercedes, phlegmatic yet dogged. The show will be great fun for participants and audience alike. Show dates are June 14-23, with rehearsals on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Backstage and support roles are also to be filled. Anyone wishing to learn about other aspects of theatre, such as producing, directing, stage-managing, or technical operation, can `job shadow' and assist one of the more experienced members. Casting will be on Wednesday, April 11, 7-10 p.m. at Century Church Theatre, Hillsburgh, and all are welcome. For further information, call Neville at 519-855-6896.
