Good showing for Fins In the last big meet before the Ontario Short Course Provincial Championships, the largest ever contingent of Halton Hills Blue Fins competitive swimmers competed against 34 other teams in the Ontario Central Region Championships at the Etobicoke Olympium. The Blue Fins brought home 17 medals against teams-- many two or three times their size-- and in the end finished in a best-ever 15th place. Many provincial-level times were achieved and a near 70 per cent personal best rate bodes well for the Blue Fins who will be competing at the provincial championships in March.
