New Neighbours The new Neighbours store in Georgetown south was officially opened Friday as hundreds flocked to the Mountainview Road South location to have a look at the newest convenience store attached to Petro Canada gas bars across the country. As part of the opening, Neighbours donated $1,000 to minor hockey in Georgetown, with $500 to the Twister girls' league and $500 to the Raiders boys' league. Accepting for the Twisters were (in front) team members (from left) Samantha Lawr, 10 and Rachel Bridges, 9. In back, Ward 4 Councillor John Duncan, Neighbours retailer Yasir Suliman and Ward 3/4 Regional Councillor Jane Fogal. This Neighbours is the eighth outlet opened in Canada, and the sixth in the GTA.
