Six homes featured on United Way's Holiday House Tour The United Way of Halton Hills presents its Annual Holiday House Tour on Saturday, Nov. 25. Six beautiful homes will be featured on this self-guided tour. Proceeds from the tour will help fund 15 United Way agencies aiding the local community. Local decorators and florists use their creative talents to display these homes in their Christmas splendour. Come and join the tour and discover ideas for your Christmas decorating. All six homes are located in the Georgetown area. Here is a quick overview of homes that will be featured: 1. One of the homes on the tour is an historical townhome which was known to have been built in the late 1860s to house the Barber Mill foreman. This beautiful townhome has undergone extensive renovations and restoration. The home still retains much of its original charm and character with its wide plank floors and high baseboards. 2. This lovely modern home welcomes you to enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the season around you and a warm welcome awaits From the circular staircase in the foyer, make your way through to the dining room where a table is set for a family feast. Linger a moment to enjoy the flow of the décor leaving with ideas to use in your own home. 3. From the gingerbread trim on the exterior of this 1880s era home to the original pine floor boards, this four bedroom, two-storey home has been painstakingly restored by its present owners bringing this house back to its original charm.
