John Uren, the owner of the property where the truck crashed through the fence, said since 2000 they have seen at least 10 accidents , and this is the second time his fence has been knocked down. Wagner said she wasn't surprised by the crash because of the speed vehicles travel through the corner. Guelph St. was closed for several hours for the police investigation Wednesday and Beisel said it took several hours to tow the truck off the property. The tractor-trailer is owned by a Peterborough trucking company. Police say it was raining and the road was wet when the accident occurred. Police are still investigating the accident.
