Police blotter Gas bar attendant held up at knifepoint Halton Police are looking for two men in connection with a robbery at the Canadian Gas Bar on Hornby Rd. Saturday. Police report a man entered the gas bar and asked the male attendant if he could use the telephone. The employee said no, but gave him money to use the pay phone located on the perimeter of the property. A short time later police say the man returned to the gas bar brandishing a kitchen knife and demanded cash. The employee turned over an undisclosed amount. He was not injured. The man left the gas bar and fled in a dark-coloured SUV with another man. The suspect is described as black, 23, 5'9", with an average build. He was wearing a light brown hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and a navy kneelength coat with pockets on the front. The other man in the vehicle is also described as black. The vehicle is a dark-coloured four-door SUV similar to a Honda CRV, Suzuki or a Subaru Forester.
