Birnay-Cox,, a point guard on the senior Rebels basketball team, was recognized for his leadership and effective passing at the Mishawaka Indiana tournament. Christ the King High School Athletes of the Week are Mike Zahra and Tara Bishop. Zahra, a guard on the Jaguars midget basketball team, was chosen for his hard work and effort as the team prepares to enter the season. Bishop, a power on the midget Jaguars volleyball team was cited for her leadership at the Abbey Park tournament.
