Starting this Thursday, the John Elliott Thea- tre will be transformed by Georgetown Globe Productions into a magical world filled with knights and maidens, wizards and witches. For the past several months, more than 60 individuals have been preparing to thrill you with one of Lerner and Lowe's finest musi- cals -- Camelot. No, there are not 60 people in the cast of the show. A musical production such as Camelot consists of much more than what the audience sees on stage and hears from the orchestra pit. Behind the scenes there are many people working diligently to ensure that everything in this production is just right. Some are there during all of the perform- WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 1996 ances: the stage managers, who control every aspect of the show once it is in the theatre; the stage hands, who move the pieces on and off stage in amazingly quick times; the lighting operators who not only make sure you can see who's singing or speaking, but also set the mood on-stage. Even before the first rehearsal was held, Camelot's artisticteam (Jacky Willows, Terry Champ, and Adele Campbell) knew exactly how they wanted the show to look. They knew where they wanted the actors to stand, sit, move, and how the actors would sing or dance in a particular number. The play runs from Nov. 28 to Dec. 1 and Dec. 5 to 7. Tickets are available by calling 877-3700. LATE DEATH NOTICE LINDAUER, Dick (Dietmar) -- Suddenly as the result ofan automobile accident in Junginen, Germany on Nov. 21.
