on saturday where howard and the other can didates had to stand up in front of everybody including people who had come to the dance intro duce themselves and then tell something about themselves they also had to answer a question spontaneously this was to see how well the con testants spoke in public i got up and i thanked my sponsors talked about my parttime job and 4h and i cant remember what else i said because i got really really nervous she said the judges ask howard what made markham fair such a success i mentioned it was because it offered so many things geared towards so many people howard said the fair wasnt just lori howard winner 1 was like what really 1 wasnt expecting to win fair queen i dont know anyone who really expects to win the oac student said she hopes the experience as fair queen will improve her ability to communicate with people while meeting many more and it has started already people are saying hi to me as soon as i put on the sash as fair queen howards
