final three games at the rec centre this week the stouffville squad was dealt another two close defeats over the weekend falling 64 to the lindsay muskies friday night on the road before dropping a 63 decision to peterborough saturday night at home the spirit fell behind 41 after the first period fri day before rallying in the second to narrow the mar gin to 43 on saturday the stouffville crew carried the play outshooting peterborough by a wide margin peterborough put the game away with an empty net goal late in the game we played a good game saturday said spirit head coach dan larmer we outplayed outhustled and oushot them but we were up against the leagues all star goalie derek johnston netted a pair for stouffville fri day with singles coming from john lowrie and mike battaglia
