summitview school early thursday morning carl was struck by a westbound car while crossing main street en route downtown he suffered severe head chest and ab dominal injuries carl was known by almost everyone in stouffville rev craig pitts referred to him as a people person with scores and scores of friends born at goodwood nov 6 1913 carl moved to stouffville with his parents and brother cedric at age 13 the family farmed on the 10th cone of markham later carl and cedric built a new home on tenth line south a street leading to the watson subdivision bears their name from birth carl was a victim of cerebral palsy while his capacity for academic learning was limited he never lacked for ambition he assisted on various bursary by bowes stouffville an ticipating his final threeyear term as
