at stouffville dis trict secondary school the brotherly pitching matchup lasted for the first four innings before dave was pulled to give another mcl pitcher some work the oshawa squad is preparing for the provincial junior elimination tournament this weekend in ottawa and their performance on wednesday impressed betz manager bryan emery theyre looking pretty good he said of mcl theyve improved beckett captain lenny wal ton and christine nurmi and helper amy munn markham team reaches semifinal the markhambased toronto ibm club team secured a berth in the september provincial championships while enroute to the finals of the unionville ov qualifier slowpitch tournament the squad racked up four wins and one loss before losing the cham pionship game 108 to the woodbridge sole survivors markham fell behind behind 90 then fought back with three seventhinning runs to close the gap only a great play by the woodbridge third baseman who knocked down a sure base hit prevented ibm from at
